As this is my first Christmas blogging, this is my first ever post of the type and I’ve read soooo many good ones already. Maybe it’s because I’m secretly a nosey B, but I love seeing what new products people are buying, so I’m jumping on the bandwagon and showcasing what I got for Christmas this year.
First things first – chocolates. It’s not Christmas without receiving some yummy selections boxes, and this year I got the Nestlé Dairy Box, orange Matchmakers and a special box of Booja Booja champagne truffles.
Next, I received this super cute Rhubarb & Ginger Collins cocktail kit from Tipplesworth that I cannot wait to try! It comes with a mini bottle of Ketel One Vodka, Cawston press Sparkling Rhubarb, Tipplesworth Lemon & Ginger syrup and a cocktail stirrer. But now I have the ultimate adult conundrum – you can’t have your vodka and drink it.
Homeware was something on my Christmas list this year as Chris and I moved into our first house together in July, and we’re still trying to fill it with bots and bobs! I got some seriously adorable festive tea towels from my niece from George at Asda (one comes with a star shaped cookie cutter!!!), and a selection of gift cards for Argos, Chapefield shopping mall in Norwich and TK Maxx. Although I have to keep reminding myself that the TK Maxx vouchers are for homeware, not for those Guess shoes…
Finally onto my beauty gifts, I received a Ted Baker mini essentials set including bubble bath, body soufflé, body wash and body spray; Clarins beautiful lip essentials with 2 mini lipsticks in Joli Rougue Brillant and Joli Rougue, and 2 Instant Light lip perfectors; a Glorious eyeshadow palette with 9 metallic colours, the Lush Cosmic box, and my personal favourite of all time, Coco Madamoiselle perfume by Chanel, which I have wanted for aaaages!
And last but not least, I can’t forget my very special present from my gorgeous man this year – my silver necklace, with love knot and cubic zircona pendant. I was devastated when I broke my last pendant playing football with my nephew (I thought bumping the ball off my chest would look pretty impressive and very cool…) and have been trying to find a nice replacement for it ever since, so opening this on Christmas morning definitely put a smile on my face.
So that’s what I got for Christmas this year, and I have been an extremely lucky girl and am very grateful to have not only received beautiful gifts, but I had an extended Christmas with a visit from my mum this year who lives abroad, and getting to spend it with Chris and his family too.
I’d love to hear what you got for Christmas! Let me know in the comments below.
